Strategic Support
Hidden within the sleek looking exterior lies our famous Sole Hero Footbed. This podiatrist designed footbed cradles the heel, supports the arch and cushions the forefoot. It aims to contribute to even load distribution underfoot and prevent painful pressure points under the ball of the foot.
Our Sole Hero Footbed was also designed to assist in maintaining the natural alignment of the foot for optimal joint and muscle function in shoes.
Foot Lift
Despite its flat-looking external appearance, the FRANKIE4 flat contains a hidden 10mm heel raise. This will help angle the foot better than what it would in a flat shoe.
This hidden feature was designed with the aim to reduce the overall rise of developing foot pain or dysfunction.
Adjustable Fit
The toe box on the FRANKIE4 flat has been carefully considered and strategically designed to offer more comfort and adjustability to the wearer than your standard ballet flat.
They enable the wearer to add a forefoot cushion under the footbed for a tighter fit if needed, without compromising their true size. In addition to this, the toe area contains strategically placed foam lining to reduce friction and irritation on the skin.
Foam Lining
Our flats have a leather lined upper with specifically placed foam lining to alleviate pressure on the skin and toes.
Heel Counters
Our heel counters are made from a modern and forgiving thermoplastic. They are designed to be firm enough to assist in the role of holding the foot within the shoe, and forgiving enough to accommodate the heels needed motion, while minimizing friction and pressure on the skin.
